Este estudio, magníficamente ilustrado, de una niña excepcionalmente dotada despertó mucha atención cuando se publicó y salieron algunas reseñas y críticas muy importantes. Se remite al lector a Nigel Dennis, New York Review of Books, 4 de mayo de 1978, y C. C. Park, Journal of Autism and Childhood Schizophrenia, (1978), 8, 457-72. Este último contiene un profuso análisis y una amplia bibliografía de los fascinantes trabajos japoneses con artistas autistas con los que concluye mi última postdata.
